Meet the Instructor
Jesse Owens
Jesse Owens currently serves as the pastor of Immanuel Church, Free Will Baptist in Gallatin, TN. He holds a PhD from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Historical Theology. His primary area of academic interest is seventeenth and eighteenth-century English Baptists, with special focus on Trinitarian theology in the period. He and his wife, along with their two sons, live just north of Nashville, TN. Since 2021, he has served as Assistant Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology at Welch College.
