Meet the Instructor
Leo came to faith in Jesus while studying Electrical Engineering at the University of British Columbia. After several years as a professional engineer, he sensed God’s call to full-time ministry and went on to earn a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. He began full-time ministry as a church planter in 1998 and now serves as the lead pastor of the church he founded, overseeing congregations in Burnaby and Maple Ridge. Since 2016, Leo has also been active in theological education as an affiliate professor at Carey Theological College and an adjunct instructor at other seminaries. Leo and his wife are blessed with one daughter.
