The Certificate/Diploma in Christian Studies is an undergraduate/graduate course of study designed to equip persons for Christian growth, living and ministry in the contexts of their daily lives. The program aims to facilitate learning that will deepen the life of faith, increase biblical and theological knowledge and enhance understanding of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ while living out a public witness in the world.
This Carey Institute program may be taken on an individual basis or as part of a church-based local cohort of students who journey through the program together. This is called the ‘Carey On The Road’ program.
While there are core subject requirements, for each student a personalized program may be designed.
CAREY ON THE ROAD
Our Church Based Program is a unique opportunity that allows for a group of students from one church, or from a regional cluster of churches, to study theology together without leaving their contexts. These students are able to journey together through an entire Certificate or Diploma program. In each location, leaders and students participate in designing a program that reflects their needs and the realities of their context. Generally church-based classes take place on 3 weekends: Fridays 7-10 pm Saturdays 8:30-4:30 pm. Read more HERE.
