CAREY’s Centre for Preaching has been established to encourage and empower preachers as they minister with the Great Preacher Himself, Jesus Christ. Through His Word and by His Spirit, God works through preachers and preaching to engender an encounter with Him, calling men and women to follow Him into the Kingdom, breaking into all the places where they live and work.
Dr. Darrell Johnson, a passionate student of preaching, is directing our Centre for Preaching to train a generation of men and women both in the basics of sermon preparation as well as various topics such as the different delivery styles of preaching God’s Word.
The Centre for Preaching offers opportunities through the Advanced Diploma to take courses for credit, as well as non-credit preaching workshops held midweek for pastors. Courses and workshops under the Centre for Preaching will begin Winter 2016.
