Our Church Based Program refers to a group of students (from one church, or a regional cluster of churches) who are journeying through a program together- either the Certificate/Diploma in Christian Studies or the Certificate/Diploma in Ministry.
The Carey Institute partners with Canadian Baptist churches across western Canada to provide a unique opportunity in theological education. At each regional location, leaders and students participate in designing the program to include courses that reflect local
and regional realities, needs, and vision. Students are then taught by Carey faculty members who either come on-stie to the host church for weekend sessions or teach a course online.
