In the long history of Christianity various forms of intentional community have existed alongside of the parish church. This course explores the theology and praxis of such communities, including Monasticism, Anabaptist and Moravian communities, contemporary communities amongst Roman Catholics and Protestants and the New Monasticism.
This is a combined course for both doctoral and masters students. The instructor is Dr. Charles Ringma.
Masters and Audit students attend June 16-19, 2014, Mon-Thur 8:30-12:00 and 2-5 pm. The course is APPL567.
Doctoral students attend June 16-20, 2014, Mon-Thur 8:30-12:00 and 2-5 pm, Fri 9-11 am. The course is DMPM942.
Audit students are welcome! Audit fee is $480
The course will be held at Grandview Calvary Baptist Church, 1803 East 1st Ave (parking lot at Victoria and 1st Avenue)
