The Master of Divinity is offered with a concentration in North American Chinese Church Ministries (NACCM) to provide contextualized training for leadership in the trilingual (Mandarin, Cantonese and English) and “bicultural” (Chinese and Western) North American Chinese Christian communities. This concentration is designed to help students learn, reflect, dialogue and integrate the larger historic Christian tradition with the specific North American Chinese church context at both the theological and practical level.

道學碩士 (MDiv) 北美華人教會事工主修 (NACCM Concentration)
道學碩士課程同時提供主修北美華人教會事工之選擇。北美華人教會事工主修的學制為六十學分核心科目及十二學分北美華人教會事工主修科目。
道學課程之設計是植根於同學的信仰群體。基於本院對學習和事奉的理念,我們相信能最有效裝備同學事奉的處境乃是坐落於社群及世界中的地方教會。神學院的教育宗旨是與教會建立伙伴關係,幫助同學在其生活環境及事奉處境中不斷成長和學習。
道學碩士課程內容包括: 聖經基礎、神學探求、認識基督教信仰傳統、 個人成長及建立成熟的人際關係、靈命塑造、先知及祭司職事在牧養上的反思以及群體領袖的訓練。
事奉評估肯定 (The Affirmation for Ministry)
事奉評估肯定是在學術成績以外對道學碩士畢業生事奉與呼召的評估及肯定。神學教育是為培育同學全人的成長,包括學術、靈性、個人品格、人際關係及職 事的範疇。同學在神學院事奉評估的過程將由教授,同輩及其他有關人事共同參與。此評估過程是為預備道學碩士畢業生能終生盡忠於上帝的召命,經驗事奉的喜 樂。本院的教授明白同學成為何等工人是靠賴上帝的恩典, 但與此同時不能忽視其個人對信仰的委身, 紀律操守及認真盡力 的態度。在評估的過程中,教授團若對畢業生事奉的適切性有所保留,畢業生的成績單上將不會獲得事奉評估肯定。
開始階段
同學的入學申請及推薦信是分辨同學的呼召與事奉準備的第一步。在申請過程中,同學及其推薦人會被問及同學的強處及須在神學教育過程中應特別注意的弱點。
第一階段 (1-36學分)
在道學碩士的新生營中,同學有機會在導師的指導下利用事奉素描第一階段(Profile of Ministry Stage 1 tool) 及其他工具, 開始深入探求事奉的呼召與 準備。每位道學碩士同學會與實習主任及指導教授會談,重申學習目標及分辨全時間事奉呼召的進程。已選定事奉工場之同學應與事奉之堂會/宗派/機構保持緊密 聯繫。由第一階段進入第二階段包括一個由同學及教授共同承擔的評估過程.
第二階段 (37-72學分)
第二階段的評估包括由同學本身繼續進行的自我評估及所有與該同學有關之單位,包括實習主任、指導教授及事奉素描第二階段指標 (Profile of Ministry Stage 2 indicator)。 這個多方面評估過程的結果會呈交教務會議審核,由教授團決定是否在畢業生的成績單上授予事奉評估肯定。假如同學要對決定作出上訴,須根據神學院概覽 (College Catalogue) 中的上訴章程申請。同學應在事奉評估過 程中積極參與,視過程為輔助成長的機會。學院鼓勵同學不斷與神學院的老師、同工及同學討論有關事奉裝備的議題。
