In the long history of Christianity various forms of intentional community have existed alongside of the parish church. This course explores the theology and praxis of such communities, including Monasticism, Anabaptist and Moravian communities, contemporary communities amongst Roman Catholics and Protestants and the New Monasticism.
This is a combined course for both doctoral and masters students. The instructor is Dr. Charles Ringma. Doctoral students attend June 16-20, 2014 and the course is DMPM942. Masters students attend June 16-19, 2014 and the course is APPL567.
