Residence living at Carey Centre is reserved for undergraduate and graduate students studying within the various faculties of the University of British Columbia and other local colleges. Apartments are also available for faculty, staff or students. Students from the churches of the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada have priority.
Residence living is an important part of a student's educational experience. In order for them to benefit from this aspect of university life, each student should have a commitment to his/her own full personal development and the contribution of his/her abilities to the welfare of the community. Residence living is a "community" experience. The lessons learned here will be invaluable in a variety of communities throughout life, church, profession, business and society. Carey Centre has been established to provide a Christian community for students.
Student residence is comprised of single occupancy rooms with single or queen size beds, desk, chair and dresser. All dorms come with en-suite bathroom with a tub or shower. Utilities include phone and high speed internet. Dorm fees also include full meal service (3 meals, 7 days/week). Parking is additional.
Wheelchair accessible dorm rooms are also available.
